Chimayo Pilgrimage with CREATIO:
March 9-17, 2024

El Santuario de Chimayó is a sacred location in Northern New Mexico. People have made pilgrimages to the site for more than 200 years, even since Bernardo Abeyeta, a local resident, miraculously discovered a holy cross in the hillside of the Chimayó Valley. In time, a chapel was built on the area where the cross was found, and the cross was placed in the sanctuary. Today, thousands of people make pilgrimages to the Santuario de Chimayó every year.
We will travel to Denver, CO from which we will drive to Taos, NM. From here we will begin our walking pilgrimage to the Santuario de Chimayó. This pilgrimage is physically demanding. The terrain is rugged, weather conditions can vary wildly, and if you are not physically active you should start putting some miles underfoot now to prepare.

Urban Encounter Ministries:
Urban Encounter is a homeless ministry in the poorest part of Columbus, helping to spread the Gospel to those who need it most. For more information on Urban Encounter, here is their website: https://uem.life/ . Our trip to UE will be focused on learning how to evangelize, opportunities for street ministry, and charismatic prayer. The costs are tentative, but will likely be maybe around $100-$200. FOCUS Greek trip to Costa Rica:

Join FOCUS Greek Life on their trip to Costa Rica, where they will be working alongside the Christian Life Movement in local communities.What’s Included: International airfare, travel insurance, pre-trip orientation, post-trip debriefing, food & lodging in-country, project materials, in-country transportation
What’s Not Included: Immunizations & personal travel medicines, travel to and from U.S. departure city (determined by FOCUS Missions), passport and visa expenses, other personal incidentals
Fundraising: Each FOCUS Missions Participant has the opportunity to fundraise the entire cost of his or her mission trip. After you have been accepted on a mission trip, you will be contacted by your personal fundraising coach.
